Aw guys. Mela kif ftemna l-skola jien ha niehu hsieb sensor technology.
Araw xsibt. Xtahsbu? Dan huwa sensor biex titrackja persuna fejn qijad, xqed jamel etc..
"The DynaPort MiniMod Hybrid combines acceleration sensors
and gyroscopes to provide you with a maximum amount of
information about a person’s movement."

Nistaw nuzaw din it tool, biex nitrackjaw il persuna fejn qeda. Parti mil final tool li ha "nicrejaw"..
Xi hadd kellu cans ifittex fuq tangible interaction, ambient technology u augmented reality?
Regards, Mark.

Don't know if you agree, but in aid of the sensor we can set augmented reality to help visually imparred people.
ReplyDeleteImage this scene - You have a zmart phone :-) infront of you helping you out instead of a dog, and you have a sensor that's attached to your belt indicating your position geographically through GPS.
An ambient technology application will interact with a tengible object (say another zmart device worn by police or security officers)and these will tell that security person if the sensor is lost or the sensor is facing the wrong way etc. The indicated person will be located through GPS and the security person can aid him/her immediately.
What'd'y' all reckon mates.
Lorn.
By the way, the zmart phone would contain an augmented application that projects the direction over the screen whilst shouting it out to the user. The device will also tell the user all imperfactions in the surface being tackled.
ReplyDeleteProbably the device will have too much information to tell the user :-)
We'll have a chat tomorrow.
Hi guys,
ReplyDeleteI support the idea. What we can also do with ambient technologies is knowing where the person is inside a building through RFIDs as well as heat sensing technologies and using same, the individual can be guided inside building equipped with the system.
Dunno if you agree?
Karl
i have shared some of the slides regarding my part on Ambient technologies on google docs.
